Benge
R. Daniel, Jr., D.D.S., M.S., through 31
years of practice in
periodontics reflects a life-long commitment to professional
service and excellence.
In 1974 Dr. Daniel graduated from the University
of Minnesota with the Outstanding Periodontal Award. He then went
on to earn his Periodontal Degree from the University of Texas.
Upon graduation in 1979, he began a long term of
service for his country by entering the Air Force as a clinician
and periodontal instructor. He rapidly rose through the ranks,
retiring in 1991 as a Chairman of the Department of Periodontics.
He was also a US Air Force Chief of Professional Services for
6 years; he was
a consultant in periodontics to the Command Surgeon of the Air
Force Logistics Command and to the Surgeon General, U.S. Air
Force Europe; and he served on the the Board of Directors of
the Uniformed Services Benefit Association for 9 years.
Upon leaving the Air Force in 1991, he moved to
Fort Worth and began his private periodontal practice with an
emphasis on personalized treatment. He has been practicing in
Fort Worth for the past 19 years.
A firm believer that a true professional must always
be learning and growing, Dr. Daniel takes a great deal of continuing
education each year. He recently completed two years of advanced
training in bone grafting. He is also one of only a handful of
dentists who are fully certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Much of his training has been in the field of dental implant placement and laser surgery. Dr. Daniel is the only periodontist in Fort Worth that uses the advanced technique of laser surgery.
Dr. Daniel is a member of all relevant general
dental associations including: the American Dental Association,
Texas Dental Association, and Fort Worth District Dental Society.
He is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology,
Texas Society of Periodontics, Southwest Society of Periodontics,
the Western Society of Periodontology and the International Academy
of Periodontics.

Dr. Daniel lives in Fort Worth with his wife, Jackie.
When time permits, he enjoys tennis, golf and boating. His son, Rob, is currently in his third year of law school at the University of Texas in Austin. His daughter, Lauren, graduated from Rollins College and is employed in New York City.
